Be ready to die....ALOT
At first.
Then you'll get a few kills, start feeling really good about yourself and suddenly you will find yourself dying...ALOT again.

Be patient. Dont get discouraged.
Takes about 10 years to reach the level of "Average pilot" LOL

you will have  heart pounding white knuckled fights, The kind where your wrist and arm hurt after its done

You will find times when you cant seem to do anything wrong
And yet othrs when you cants seem to do anything right

You will find yourself  staying up late and being late for RL enguagements. Important things like, Your wedding, Work, Funeral etc just so you cant get "one more flight" in

When not playing the game you will find yourself thinking about the game, what move you will try. If he does this then next time I'll do that.
Often while somebody is telling you soemthing important. Like your boss waring you about what will happen if your late for work one more time.
Or your wife/girlfriend complaining how they are leaving you because you care more about that silly game then them.

With this you will shrug and say "ok" when your wife tells you she is going to be spending the night at the house of some guy she met at work.

"Cool, just as long as she leaves me alone so I can play"

Or you will look at your wife/girlfriend dressed in that new sexy nightie she just bought and think "Maybe I should take 2-1,000 pound bombs on that F4 instead of 2 500 pounders"

Another standard comment will be "One minute" or "Right after this flight"

these will be standard answers to comments made to you such as "Honey the house is on fire" or "I need you to sign these divorce papers"

Welcome to the wonderful world of Aces high. Say goodbye to your family and friends now.
You have entered the realm for which there is no escape. Only. the next flight
Death is no easy answer
For those who wish to know
Ask those who have been before you
What fate the future holds
It ain't pretty
