Chief,

Why are you jumping the chain by routing your watermelon directly to the admiral?  And why are you taking out a Lance Corporal for a f*ching good time?    Ain't that fraternizing?  And shouldn't you not be telling us this kind of info???  After all, we didn't ask!    Keep up the boozing and you'll end up in Level 3... don't say I didn't warn you.

Chief, I must recommend against putting that watermelon in , because the admiral will view it as fraternization, and would probably start askin some probing questions about your relationship with the Lance Corporal.
As your subordinate, i cannot Tell you not to put that watermelon in, but, as a first class it's my job to keep you out of trouble. What the Admiral doesn't know about won't hurt him, besides, i know some guys in the motor pool, Harbour Ops, and in supply, who can hook you right up.

P.S. Marines are good for somethin sometimes!

PO1 Hamish!

What I asked for guys was use of a Landing Craft; Personal Launch [LCPL] to take a bunch of guys out for a F&@(^!*& Good Time. If I couldn't get an LCPL, I wanted to use an LST [Landing Ship; Tank] for the party. Hopefully  the Admiral will join us for the party, which is why I sent my watermelon to him.

And I thought Airdales had low IQs, geez now my own guys don't even wanna party!

Heh, no worries Cheifareeno.  It ain't that we don't want to party, it's just that we learned early on in our naval careers:  it's easier to beg for forgiveness than to axe for permission.
