This question reminds me of a time my friend did a tune up on his car and couldn't get it started afterwards. When I showed up, he turned the car over and was blowing fuel out of the carberator. I asked him if he'd taken off the spark plug wires to wich he responded "Yes, all of them so I could clean them". I asked if he did them all at once or one at a time (though I already knew the answer).
He began to explain to me how he removed all of the spark plug wires, but he used the numbers on the intake manifold to hook them up in the correct order. I verified this and and that he had cylinder 1 hooked to the right point... then the problem struck me. I asked him to remove the distributor cap and watch the rotor while I turned to car over. He did and was dumbfounded when I asked him "wich direction did it turn?"
