No Color on Clipboard Map

The Spawn lines, Radar Rings, Radar contacts, andzone lines all appear black on my clipboard map. It has always been this way, its not a recent development. I tried removing and then reinstalling AH, but that did not work.

My System Info:
Dell 2400
Windows XP Home Edition
Processor Speed is 2193 MHZ
Video card is Radeon 9250

also i had to disable the horizon. it was appearing as a huge black line. not sure if the problems are related.

All 9000 series ATI video cards have this problem and the only driver ATI ever produced which fixes the problem is the Catalyst 4.12 drivers.

I installed that driver, but now AH will not start at all.

Did you remove the old drivers first?

Yes, you must remove the original driver first.

I had removed the old driver prior to downloading the new one. Looking at the system information screen it looks like the new one (4.12) is installed and working. I got AH to run once, it got me to the MA and then froze and I have not been able to run AH since. It starts to open the window, the window is just white inside, then a message comes up sayin the program needs to be stopped.

EDIT: That was really odd, it wouldn't run 10 minutes ago, I posted here, and now its running.
