Hellbent,

If somebody calls out a warping enema plane, and doesnt "see" the response on 200 they would probably shoot it down, just so they can identify the pilot and PM him, or call him out specifically on 200.

I certainly wouldnt take offense by them shooting you down and not seeing a "rgr" on 200.

Expect no quarter to be given in the MA.

It does happen..... just don't EXPECT it.

Civility and chivolry will not be expected until release of AH:WWI.... and there we'll drop flowers over enemy airfields when we kilt one of theirs.

Got a problem with a warper....film it, post it, send in a complaint.... but bad connections do happen.....  if ALOT of complaints come in on a particular individual, take his 300 baud modem away from him.  I don't like the plane 400 off my nose suddenly apprearing 200 off my six either, but it happens.  Part of online gaming against real-life opponents.

There are many such issues in game.  Take flamers (aircraft, not posts).   Some folks HATE it when someone kill steals a plane they set on fire.  With a buff... unless it is about to drop on a base/town, I agree: leave it be.
But with a fighter..... you set one on fire, YOU stay behind that bird until it goes boom, or YOU put it down yourself.  Some of these torch-planes will fly around forever.... and will still be dangerous to other pilots.

I see an unattended flamer, I'll trail it.... but I won't fire unless it starts to line up another friendly in its sights.  Just an example of courtesy and tactics in use in game.

I caught my 5 year old son was flying last night.  He was supposed to be in bed.  I walked in on him just as he was trying to shoot down a goon.  I scared him half to death and he missed the shot and then augered....in a Chog.

He was trying to talk to people on range channel, so I am sorry if he said anything silly.

shoot the goon then suck the whiner in and shoot him down then land the kills relog and rejoice in the whining beside half of warping whines are caused by the whiner warping and not the whinie

no quarter in MA..we all know this..sometimes it stinks but just accept it..i warp alot now due to dial up issues, for some reason people think its an advantage..trust me it aint...when someone says i warped its usually after i fired 300 rounds where an aircraft was and then die to a plane that past me 3 seconds ago..

IMHO, you must not have been warping too badly, or else, how the heck did they ping you?

Actually, if possible, I would shoot down the warper first, then tell him "While your down, you may want to consider relogging as you were warping SOOOO badly, I actually hit you (impossible under normal circumstances)."

I don't think the brits bombed pearl harbor. I mean they may have considered the movie a bomb. I don't know.

Id keep fighting, i need the kills. But if YOU tell a warper to RTB, you let him live. if you dont, you are one dirty tird.

OK gents helbent is talking about me.  I saw him warping during the engagement and did break telling him he was warping, a few others around saw the same thing.  Now...this is not unusual.....we've all warped at one time or another.

As I said I did break.  I had the definate speed advantage in an N Jug.  I did not see the "rgr" on 200.  could have been looking at the map..don't know.  But I did continue to watch the N1K.  I saw the N1K diving towards a Bish aircraft....so...I did what I should have done attempt to clear the 6 of the Bish aircraft, I shot the N1K down.

Now.....many of you know that I have let aircraft rtb when in an engagement for different reasons, fuel, ammo, etc.  If I'd have seen the rgr. on channel 200 (my text buffer is 3 lines only) I'd have staid clear.
One I didn't see the rgr, and 2 saw the N1K diving to the Bish aircraft.

I don't need the kills and could care less about them.  Never played for score in Aces High and never will.  Play for the fun and I don't want to spoil others fun.

Sorry Helbent I truly didn't see your "rgr" on the text buffer.  If it were me I'd have just augered and checked my connection anyway...probably re logged to make sure.  Guess that's the difference in which we play the game.  We all pay our 15 dollars and taking that into consideration we can't judge on how others play the game.

In my eyes it was a low-down dirty kill on his part.  So I ask you, what would you have done?  Would you break off or keep fighting.  Also, would you allow a warper that disengages to rtb?

I know I did the honorable thing by ending my attack, but im not sure Id do it again.

Dont listen to the enemy who has every intention of shooting digital bullets at you. You dont even know if you were in fact warping, it was probably just a rouse to get you away from the goon.

There is no honor in the MA.

Just because one player says you are warping is certainly no cause to auger. There are countless ways that your connection could be just fine and the problem is on their end. Just play the game, and check it out later if you think you need to, net status ect.
