Hey guys, I'm sitting here fingering through my stack of CD's and I realized that I dont really have a truely state-of-the-art modern jet sim. My best ones right now are Janes F-15 and USAF.

Now F-15 is ok, but graphically its a bit of a problem for my computer, and USAF is nice if you like survey sims.

I'm more of a rampant "button pusher" sim kinda guy. My past favorite was EF2000(the first one). So i'm thinking about picking up Falcon 4.0. I hear that in its patched state its a pretty decent sim. Or I could try Janes F-18, though I hear it has some stability problems of its own.

Any suggestions?

Btw, I did buy EF2000 2 Typhoon, what a beer coaster that turned out to be.

Falcon 4 with the latest realism patch. The one 87th Stray Dogs are using (the filter that is) makes it very enjoyable.

Still requires a big puter though.

Falcon4 is still by far the best jetsim. It might even be the best sim ever..and you got more buttons than you can swing a stick at!.
I got into it when it first came up, got fed up with the stability issues (and horsepower required) and have since had the patience to take the time to relearn it. It requires a lot of HOTASS programming and manual reading.

Falcon 4 with the realism patch gets my vote too. Its simply awesome.

At the moment my choice is Falcon 4.0 with efalcon 1.10 upgrade. Realism patch is great too and I have those too combined. But theres more to come in form of Falcon4SuperPAK.
