Possible CV Bug with launching Seafires
« on: July 06, 2006, 08:16:06 AM »
I have noticed a pblm while launching Seafires on the carriers, I think it started happening a few weeks ago.

When I select a seafire and click the H area on the clipbaord to bring it to the CV deck, it seams to initially bounce on the deck (you actually hear the wheels bounce), and about 10-15% of the time the prop will make contact with the deck and bend wich makes the engine stall.

   Has anyone else noticed this?

You end up having to return to hanger and reup wich hurts your Kills/Sorties score.

Even when Upping C-hogs on the CV i noticed the initial bounce (hear the wheel bounce) when i up on the CV deck, but with the C-hog it has never bent the prop (Guess there is more clearence).

Lost a C-Hog prop to this today.

(PS dont let working the score get you frustrated -- it can rob the game of fun if you're not careful! Been there...)

Oooppps,

I just read thru the Bugs forum and this was identified as a known pblm to be fixed with the next release of code.

The workaround is to launch from the tower when on a CV, do not launch from the Hanger when on a CV or you may get the prop damage!!!
