I seem to remember reading that the pilots hated the 75mm because it would jerk the yoke right out of their hands and shake the plane to pieces.

Screw the 75mm! Forget it! It was ONLY useful against undefended shipping!

What I want is 8 50cal in the nose and 2 on each cheek! 12x50cal baby!!!!

That blows 75mm away any day.

...which has been modified with the strafer nose since the pic was taken.

HT! PYRO! Give us Quitch! Puh-leez....before it's too late!



The early C and D model strafers looked like this, although most of them had the plexiglass removed and replaced with aluminum panels like Quitch did.

The C/D's didn't have all the creature comforts of the J's. The tailgunner didn't get the canopy in the early models. The gunner fired from a prone position.

Hellz yeah!!! ID LOVE THE B25!!! But, we should also be able to launch them from carriers, but only if we take a light gun load. Also, we should be able to not take any internal guns, to facilitate shorter take-offs. But, i would prefer the H, with the smaller number of fixed nose-mounted guns. (Simply for asthetics, I have no performance records to cite to back this up)
