Auto pilot fix
« on: July 11, 2006, 07:17:37 PM »
Can I be made so that the smallest of control inputs will disengage auto climb or auto level 100% of the time?  not when it feels like it????  theres countless times im low to the deck and throw on autoclimb, only to realize im only going to clear the obstacle by pulling into the vertical, but the stupid auto climb stays engaged and the game doesnt read my yolk in stomache input to CLIMB, and I end up dying...

i really wish it were reliable

Try Left/Right.  My joystick's wearing out to where i have to nudge it a bit to the right to make it centered...  The slightest nudge to the left undoes this, and throws me out of autopilot.

Very annoying for me, but possibly useful for you.

We met briefly at Corsairs Over CT.  I was with Del, Tower and Hoarach.  You were on your way to drive a veteran pilot somewhere (lucky dog)!

lol...That may have been the greatest weekend of my entire life...All day long my friends were calling me up..."Yo Mike!  Lets go to the bar!!!   Yoooo!  Strippers at teds tonight!", and I would reply, "no fn way...im hanging out with 80 year old fighter pilots!"...That really was an experience that I will remember forever!  As other people dream of hanging out with the Yankees, or their favorite celebrity for the weekend, this was my "yankee weekend"...dream come true....

anyways vudak, we should try and get a big Connecticut meeting by the end of summer...I believe the nerds are coming back to Toads place in August...May be a fun show for all of us to see?

There is a 2 sec timer after enaging before the stick movment will take it back off. This is done so you can engange the auto pilot with out haveing the stick centered. If you put it on, and need to quickly take it back off, you just need to hit the X key again to disengage it during the 2 secs.

And no it will not be chaninging.
