View buttons stop working with clipboard motion

It's kind of annoying to be looking back and hit ESC to bring up the clipboard and have it reset the view to front/forward. Also not being able to view backwards again until the clipboard has fully popped up or stowed itself.

This happened several times this evening. It was kind of irritating.

Clipboard interupts button inputs too.  CMeye stops flying when bringing up, or putting down the clipboard.

I've tracked this to the occasional CTD. It doesn't happen all of the time, but once in a while it gives the WOD (White Screen of Death) and crashes with the inevitable Microsoft error message.
