For a while now I have been seeing odd messages on the MOTD in the Training Arena and the Main Arena, I Didn't think anything of it at first, Just figured HTC was having a little fun... But lately I've been starting to think otherwise especially when I asked a Trainer about it in the TA on the fourth of july. So I decided to take a Screen shot of it. To offer it as proof, Actually I have a screen shot of two different MOTD's both come from the TA I didnt take one from the MA yet but would be happy to if anyone so wishes it.

So anyway here they are.

I hope these Help, or I even hope someone can shed some light on the subject

Edit: I forgot to mention. That if I close off the MOTD and reopen it. It does return to its normal state. Others don't seem to see it when I ask them about it. And this is the SECOND computer that I have AH installed and I seen them on the old PC and On first play of the NEW PC.

Strykar, first of all.... youre not going mad. Im getting the same messages. If you check in your AH2 install folder under "sqdmotd.txt" youll find the corresponding text files.

From someone else i talked to on channel200, i fugured out that only people that are NOT in any squad get the messages.... true?

Since they change regularly, im guessing its someone at HTC sending "loveletters" - hey, i once got told to "go kill some Bishops and Knights".... trouble was, when shooting at the Bishops I ended up in tower each time.

The only thing about them thats *slightly* disturbing to me is that i get them in the TA as well.... instead of the rules popping in my face.

Apart from that i find them rather amusing....

As always you have been a great help with this. I was honestly beginning to believe I was going mad over here. Its sad when you ask people and that type to you like your a nut

Wow, The problem mysteriously fixed it self. So thank you for the Replies, and IF HTC did anything to correct the problem, Thank you guys for giving me a normal MOTD again
