So, aside from the fact that it would have been unfair to both Deth7 and the CM to change back at the last minute when 68KO found out he could make it after all (glad you made it, sorry about the camping trip), 68KO was the one who found Hartmann and followed him untill Deth 7 was on him. If KO had been Thompson, it would only have happened quicker. That KO kept Hartmann in sight and vectored Deth7 in for an intercept is all the more awesome. I didn't have joy on the pursuit, but I followed the whole thing on the radio.
It doesn't really matter who flew Thompson and Hartmann. The really cool thing was the teamwork involved, on the Knights as a whole for hitting their targets so well, and on the 347th for covering Thompson and coordinating the killing of Hartmann.
