I don't know ..its already hard enought to bring down a formatoin of bombers. I don't think you will be able to get more than 3 guys to join you. (Your country probly needs these gunners to be in fighters. If you practice it should be easy to protect your formation.) I don't think this is a good idea.

(P.S. Bring back night fighting!!!!!)

Even though i didn't play AW people have told me about how they would fill up everypostion in a bomber and just gun away can you imagine 999000,Zazen,CiBrg and other assorted uber gunners in one formation gunign now can you say DEATHSTAR! it would take like 6 7 fighters at once at least to take em down!

This is a WWII sim, right? Think they ever sent a bomber group up with 2 crewman? I don't think so. Ofcourse they had night too.....

I would like to see ANY bomber worthy of spending perks on. The AR234 is a P.O.S.

A DEATHSTAR would be cool also.

AR234 isn't that bad its good for fast strikes and you can outrun some of the fighters in the current planeset

SgtDibs, sorry but it isn't going to happen sir.

Allowing bombers to take more than a single gunner puts to much strain on the networking resources. To allow 6- 12 people per plane means the server has to keep track of each one of them, and what and who it can see at any point.

Hitech has said again and again that its just not going to happen.

Never flew Air Warrior but I understand they had full crews. Am I wrong? I don't think in these days of ultra high tech servers and such that figuring it out or how the server can handle it should be much of a problem. All I know that when a bomber comes into site during an attack, the first thing you see is everyone heading for the in coming bombers. Chances are they knock them down and get a bunch of points. I don't think that if fighter knew the bombers hand a full crew they would attack so quickly, as they did in WWII. AH does a damn good job and there is not a sim equal to theirs. But being the best shouldn't mean that you can't strive to be the ultimate. Night, full crew bombers, P-61, would bring more realistic fighting to the game. I'm sure Skuzzy and the crew are working on it, just not sure when. Anyway, they have my monthly dues for a job well done. Hope to see ya in my cross hairs.........

but then wouldn't this meen one less plane in the air which i am sure would put more strain than an extra gunner would:confused:

Air Warrior did have gunners and Navigator positions on the B-17 and all bombers. I believe the A26, my favorite plane there, had 2 or 3 gunners as well. Even the C-47 had a .50 cal in the door!

We used to "dual" with them. Once we got a night of Tri-Lamb going with Mage setting up, The ACCS, The Shepards Fold, and us Cutthroats- we were sister flights. What a Hoot! We would take the WWI arena and Mage enabled tanks, jeeps, and C-47s. I don't remember the fighters but they were usually pigs. We would go at it for hours

I would like to see all gunner positions manable and guns on planes like the C-47.

Think they ever sent up 3 bombers with one pilot driving?
