I spent yesterday at the Mammoth Mountain Bike Park. Lots of fun. They turn the ski resort into a bike park during the summer months. Shuttles are provided from the bottom back up to the lifts. It's been a good year since I tore my shoulder and I haven't really been on any long mountainous single track since then. I'm sore as hell this morning, but I'm looking forward to the next trip up.

Mammoth Mountain is about 30 miles south east of yosemite national park in california. I was just there two weeks ago to catch some late season snowboarding. The place is huge and very beautiful.

No kidding late season... I almost went up there two weeks ago for the bike opening day.
