I had a chance to fly tonite. Nothing memorable, probably an average night in AH, but near the end of my night, one of those little things happened that make it fun for me and keep me coming back. Maybe my expectations are too low

Shuffler and I had just survived a halfway decent fight, but both were low on fuel so we had to rtb. It wasn't a big kill run or anything like that. As we got closer to the field, I all of a sudden got sucked into the cockpit a bit as I flew formation off Shuffler's left wing. When his flaps started down and then the gear, I followed suit as all of a sudden it mattered to me that I make it a formation two ship landing. He lead us in nice and smooth and we ended up crossing the threshold and putting it down at about the same instant, rolling to a stop together.

Nothing fancy, but just one of those things that makes the virtual cockpit feel about as real as it's going to get for me and my imagination.

It looked kinda cool on the screenshot too.

Guppy that is the most beautiful AH screenshot i've ever seen:D. Kinda brings a tear to an old P-38 pilot's eye, (whimper, sniff, sniff)

P.s, I've always wanted to get the 38 squads toghether and fly formation to the attack and come back and do a fan break over the field at once and film it.
