Training Arena

Hey all, I'm real new to AH and if you have seen me online you could probably tell real quick I have no idea how to fly these planes.  I played Air Warrior for a long long time and became quiet good at flying the 38.  Well in AH, I either forgot everything I knew, I'm lacking my throttle/pedals, or it's just been too long since I've been in a cockpit.  Anyway, I was wondering if there were set times for training in the arena.  I could really use some help with flying but every time I go in there it looks like squad stuff going on or something.

On a side note, I used to be in a squad called The Damned in AH.  Any of those guys still around?  In the final days of Air Warrior everyone bolted to Ultima Online > Everquest and I lost touch with everyone.  Would be cool to see some of em again.  Thanks for any advice you can give.

I'll be in the TA about 1/2 hour from now if you don't find another trainer before then.

And yes, I believe 2 of our trainers are damned.

Hey there Murdr, thanks.  I didn't know you were training over here.  That's great, and good to talk to you again (talked to you a bit in AW forum).  Going to head to the arena now, you may be gone though.  Hopefully see you in game at some point.

Oh and the previous post I said I was in Damned in AH.  I meant to say Damned in AW.  Not sure if some of same people though.

Yes its mostly the same people, plus several new people Im sure.

AH crashed for me while I was in the TA, and I no sooner reset and got back in when a thunderstorm cut the power for a moment.  Will probalby go back to the TA after the storm passes.

Recap hmm....  did you add on to your callsign?

All of it is important; most of it vital; and all of it just too much for one brain to absorb in 1-2 lessons" TC

I was telling Murdr this yesterday but I can't remember what my call sign was at the end..I was "Toast" for a bit..Recap has always been my main handle but for the life of me I can't remember what handle I was using there towards the end..I wasn't in Damned all the long before everyone took off..I followed some of you guys to Ultima Online and we bummed around there until a lot of people left for Everquest.  Think Cazic Thule server?  Anyway I only flew the 38 if that helps anyone remember what I was calling myself those days hahah.  It's been too long unforatunately.

edit: something makes me want to say I might have put an "a" at the end of recap at somepoint..might have been recapa
