Operation Downfall Tonight
« on: July 22, 2006, 11:51:23 AM »
And so it begins...

Tonight, a fleet of warships will begin the long awaited for invasion of Japan.

Good luck and good hunting to all the players who will attend.

Walkons are Welcome, but Come Early so you are well prepared as both sides have planned long and hard for this, coming in 5 min to launch and expecting to be fully briefed would be difficult to pull off.

Doobs will be the IJN CO

Filth will be the Allied CO

Both will have their hands full, as neither side has any clear advantage.

This will be a 4 frame event, each frame lasting 3 hours.  There will be unlimited rides and lives and some difficult objectives.  Plan on non stop action, every pilot will count, every bomb or bullet needed.

Thanks go out to all the players who have registered and put their time into planning for their teams success, as well as the Design Team for bringing this event together.  Thanks also to Raptor and the Terrain Team for yet Another spectacular map.  Logging in to see the terrain itself is more than worth the time to participate in the event.

See you there.

I tryed 3 times to register, the ah events website is screwy!!!

it keeps sending an email to verify my email, so I click on link, it sends me to a page saying it is not activated it, so with out registering for the AH events site, I have been unable to register for the scenario, I found quiet a few people having the same problem!!!

also is affecting some signing up their squads for FSO's etc..... unable to register and log into the AH events sites is keeping them from registering their FSO squads ( my squad the Damned , finally managed to get registered after upteen times of trying ).........

it would be nice if the events website did not get updated SO OFTEn and be much more user friendly...........

I had PMed FiLtH a few times regarding this, when I was trying to signup/register for this scenario to fly an HOG , but hopefully I will get a walkon HOG spot, HOPEFULLY........

this should be 1 outstanding scenario........

thanks for the CM scenario /event team for bringing this scenario to the community to participate in...............
