hmmm, it would seem the problem is that your game isnt saving the settings when you exit. make sure you exit aceshigh through the quit function and not 'alt F4' style?

I know its stupid to suggest, but you do know that there is a deadband/damper setting for each axis of the stick including throttle? you must select each axis and set the individualy.

Also if you need help with the actual settings, i would advise the deadband sliders to all be half an inch up from the bottom on all axis, and the damper to be disabled for all axis.

deadband will minimise the effect tiny stick movements have on your aircraft, very important for cheap twisty sticks or dodgy pedals. If you have a deadband turned up 3%, it means the first 3% of movement on that axis will not register.

damper just delays the imput, meaning that you will kick the rudder and it wont register for an ammount of time depending how high the slider is. i dont like damper.

Check to see that you're taking the following steps:
Open the clipboard and click on:
CONTROLS > MAP CONTROLS > click the ADVANCED BOX and the ENABLE SCALING BOX

Now set your deadband and damping sliders to your preference.

Now hit the OK button.

That should save your settings.

Max, scaling doesnt need to be enabled for deadband and damping. ;)

Grayman, make sure you set deadband and damping for each axis seperatly. then click on OK before exiting the "Map Controller" Window.

Another thing you need to check: In your Windows Explorer (NOT Internet Explorer, im talking about the file manager) find you game installment. If you installed it into default location, it should be at C:/HTC/Aces High II/.... now right click that folder and make sure that its (including all subfolders) *not* write protected. This happens sometimes and will keep Aces High from saving any options.
21 is only half the truth.
