Greebo 1st -

a) On the B-24 when you overpaint the anti glare for non bare metal finishes, have you got rough color change values, I know it's lighter but can't quite match it.

b) Your C-47s, found one with a name "Bye Bye Blues", got a pic but thats all I have.

Dan

If Greebo decides to do the C-47, any more info on it?

My partial solution to the nose panel problem is in this thread.

Just thinking about it; my idea of increasing each RGB colour by 1.92 may not be mathematically correct, since a sufficiently high value would exceed the maximum 255 on the RGB scale when converted. Having said that, this method seemed to work OK on my skins.

The reason lightening the panel is only a partial solution is that the relative nose panel colour varies according to the amount of arena light. If the lightened nose panel is a pretty good match at noon, it will begin to appear progressively lighter that the surrounding colour towards dawn and dusk. You can tweak the colour by playing with the .time command offline to get the best compromise.

Thanks for the goon picture Kev. I haven't skinned a standard OD/Grey C-47 so it'd be good to do that if I could get enough info.
