It looks great - but am I the only one who finds it really lame that they basically rip off the events and dialog from the 'Saving Private Ryan' beach landing nearly verbatim?

It was also announced a couple days ago that it has been delayed 4 months - till February, 2002.

Its a good concept, just like WW2OL

Holpfully someone will release realistic mod patch .
I'll just wait untill it comes out and see what other "simfreaks" say about it

*yawn* i run each night the beach up & down in Day of Defeat, dont think this will be much more different (frag-fest) in online play.
But maybe the Singleplayer part will do it.
I somehow waiting for "Return to Castle Wolfenstein", this will be a good Singleplayer shooter (crazy storyline), and of course the multiplayer (frag-fest) part will sure rock  ;)
The statement below is true.
The statement above is false.

Ghost i read that in Multiplayer you can play as a team on the Single player missions but with your own squad of real players.

Granted it might be a frag fest but i read the big push is to get players to play as a team.  Example: Closer you stay with your squad the better you shoot, move,etc.. once you lose more and more of your team you become slower and shoot worse.  This is the first SP game i cant wait for. I usually only look for multiplayer games.
