Anyone seen 'Boys of Brazil'?
« on: September 05, 2001, 11:08:00 AM »
Just saw this movie last night. Didn't even know anything about such a movie. Gregory Peck was, well an impeccable Dr. Josef Mengele...

It makes me wonder even more if perhaps the Germans had already had the idea of cloning technology back in the 1940's!  Dr. Mengele *did* work with twins and tried to determine how they became twins.

One would venture to guess that the idea of cloning Hitler would have been brought forth during his lifetime.  It is almost too wierd how close to movie could b to real life.  Afterall, Menegle did survive the war.  One would be logical into thinking that Hitler would be delighted with the idea of himself lasting 1000 years.  I'm sure there was a secret project aimed at cloning Hitler, I'm sure of it...

Does anyone know if a hair sample was taken from Hitler's body before or after he died?
Hehe, dumb question, no one knows, but think about it.

Good gawd, people watch this movie, this could have really happened in RL.  Cloning is just around the corner. Perhaps Mengele or the "RUSSIANS" God forbid have cloned JOSEF STALIN!

At least his body is still there just waiting to be cloned.

The personality and environment would possibly be different, but who knows, some people believe that these humans were inherently evil.

I think the Germans are still behind today's cloning push.  Somewhere deep in the jungle's of an unknown piece of land, ex-Nazis are still carrying out Menegle's work in progress.

You can clone the body, but you can't clone the mind. You will have a body with a blank mind. Sorry, doesn't do you no good.

Besides with todays technology they wouldn't last 3 weeks and someone would take them out..
