Once again your "eye in the sky" is reporting in with more photos from the front!
The skies were filled with smoke and fire as vicious dogfights broke out today over Fighter Town, marred only by the occaisonal dweeb in a PT boat.
We take you now to the photos taken by our intrepid field reporter!

The only good Spit...

The Chase
And on another sortie...

This La-5 took a lot of fire during an extended fight, but it just takes one well-placed burst to decide the contest (kill #1).

That used to be a C2 (kill #2).

As the C2 disentegrates, the follow-through of my high-yo drops me onto the tail of a fleeing Mosquito (kill #3). Testament to the ferocity of the furball, in spite of having a good deal of speed OCANADA overtakes me in his Ki-61. Unseen behind me was a third Rook also in pursuit.

Another bandit down (assist). Once again with so many fighters crammed into such a small area during the melee, several Rooks are all crowded into the pursuit.

Spitfires exaggerate the flaw in how the recepient of a kill is determined. Because even the briefest snapshot to the wing is all it takes to knock one down, there too little cumulative damage to outweigh rounds put into the fuselage that do no telling or crippling damage. What should have been a kill is now an assist.

Once again the crowded furball puts multiple friendlies in close proximity while in pursuit of the same target (kill #4).

A timely warning from a nearby friendly and an overspeeding opponent avert disaster.
