Unlimited AMMO in N1K
« on: July 24, 2006, 06:25:52 AM »
Happened yesterday, don't know if this is a known bug, or random occurence, but this is the deal..

Flying an N1K, with a Drop-Tank..

In combat, one of the guns on the right wing is shot out (damaged).  Only one gun on right wing is working, and all guns on left wing are working.

I have my joystick fire-button set to ALL-GUNS.

Eventually, all ammo in left wing guns run out.  I can tell by no more cannon sounds (no mo, BANG-BANG-BANG!)..  dead silence when trigger pulled..

I swoop down to clear a squadies tail, by mere intimidation (no ammo left), and squeeze trigger from knee-jerk instinct, (no bang-bang sound), and to my sheer delight?

NME lights up with hit sprites!,, and his wing departs!

WTF? says I..  I look out right window, squeeze trigger, and one cannon is merrily firing away!  (no sound)..  The "Round Counter" is stuck at 200 and not going down?

I hosed city buildings, trees, passing birds, just for ha-ha's..  UNLIMITED BULLETS!

Finally, I'm running out of fuel, and drop the tank..  BOING!  Tank gone, as well as my UNLIMITED AMMO!  Round counter instantly went to "0".  No more bullets.

Done deal..

Faithfully submitted,

RV6

BOOOHAhaahaa!!  GOLLUM!  You're EVERYwhere on these boards..  No hiding from thee.

The first go'round at AC USA was to "motivate" you..

Now?  That you've got like 3,456,817 real flight hours logged?  I freely admit that you may have become the "master".

However, I sit in my old rocking chair, with the AC-USA trophy on lap, and stroke it, and polish it, and cherish it,, and whisper to it (like a scene from Lord of Rings)..

"Oooooo..  my presh-cious!!!"

LMAO
