Today, I was fortunate enough to get invited to a screening of BHD here in LA that had a question and answer session with Bruckheimer and Scott at the end.

Without going into too much detail, this is a must see movie.  I was a little leary with Bruckheimer being involved, but it was AWESOME.  It was every bit as good as the book (though there were some differences, mainly due to time constraints).  I can't recommend this movie enough.  I plan on going to see it again.

The book is awesome, I remember reading that a few years by and thinking "they should make a movie out of this..."  :)

by looking at the trailers, it seems to be kind of loyal to the book, and i hope so.

I just finished the book.  The book is chilling.  However, try listening to some of the actual radio transmissions from the black hawk down website.  It will make chills go down your spine- especially the transmission from blackhawk super 61.  You hear the pilot yelling right before he is killed.

I'm very much looking foward to the movie.  The reviews I have read for the movie are awesome.  I live in Kentucky (home of the 101st and the night stalkers).

Read the book last year, hopefully should make a good film.
Big interest in Eric Bana, and Ewan Macgregor
