that really doesn't change much for an aol user.  If it's their ISP then they still pay.  If not...they keep the software which is a friggin virus anyway.

I only keep it anymore cause its easy for my daughter to use

Was actually seriously thinking of getting rid of it as she is getting more computer savy and my only other reason for my keeping it.
Is no longer a reason.

Other then that  I actually prefer the way their Email works over anything else Ive seen out there.
But thats not really a big issue

I use My own ISP so thats not an issue either LOL

I agree the latest AOL software is like a Virus gives you all sorts of crap you dont need or want  (AOL Suite) Damn near as hard to get rid of too.
On the occasion I use it anymore I just use one of the older editions

They've been discussing it for some time, going to an advertising based setup for those with broadband access.  Which stinks for me because my only excuse for getting rid of AOL when I finally get broadband in my office was that I could use the free email we get with the account.  I still could, but since AOL would be free too, the boss doesnt want me to get rid of it now so no one  has to change their email settings.
