M26 and Matilda + Firefly

I know, I know, we have asked for these before, but it is the squeeky wheel that gets the grease.

We need the M26 Persing with 90mm gun to counter the Tigers, and yes the M26 should be perked about the same as a Tiger.

We need the Matilday, well because there is no British amour in this game.

If we are going to get a Sherman, make it the Firefly with the 17 pounder gun.  Sure it won't survive well against a panzer, but than again, neither does another panzer.  Once again, it should be perked, but not nearly as much at a Tiger.

Finally, how about some anti tank guns, or tank destroyers.

For those who say this is a flying game, remember that GV's are just targets for ground attack planes.  The more GV's, the more targets.

Be honest, who does not love to find a Tiger sitting still while you are over head with a couple of 1000 pounders under your wings.

Just the kind of tanks we need. How well did the M36 do in combat?

The M-36 was a tank destroyer with a 90mm gun, I imagine it did just
fine.

I dont know much about American tanks, how about an Archer? was an unusual tank destroyer with a 17pdr gun (probably best AT gun the allies had in WWII with the APDS shell).

The gun was mounted backwards, to make the perfect ambush vehicle.  They would reverse into position, wait, fire off some rounds and then drive out still firing.

only problem i can see with these tank destroyers is the fact that they have open top turrets...

not a good thing in ah ;)

I am not ashamed to confess that I am ignorant of what I do not know.

contrary to popular belief, M-10s and M-36s had armored turret covers that could be opened so the crew could better survey the battlefield.
