Ok,

First stab at a skin.  This just has basic paint and insignia.  I've still got to add weathering, details, side numbers, etc.  I've got a problem with the right tire.  On the ground, it looks fine, but once I go gear up, the painted portion disappears.  Any other observations would be helpful.

[EDIT]  Can't figure out how to post the pictures.  Are attachments disabled?

That's a graphic bug, all of the F4F skins have this issue,

I don't use the attachment option, I just use the board's image codes:

[ img ]image URL[ /img] without the spaces.

I've been noticing the older models have quite a few skin bugs. Certainly the F4Us (wing undersides are mirrored, the front half of the cowl lip on the F4U-1 is mirrored and vertically displaced, one ventral aileron surface is intruded on by one upper surface, etc).

Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.
