Humble wish: Can we get NNTP access to discussions

I hate to say, but the web based discussion boards suck and I would not use one if there was an alternative NNTP access to these boards... The technology for having both, HTTP and NNTP access to the same board is out there.

I'll take a UBB webboard over newsgroups anyday.  Lot quicker and easier to sort through IMNSHO =)

Web based board gives very little choice for the user, like what and how I'd like to read the messages. However preferring NNTP or HTTP based boards will always be a matter of taste like "is Mac better than PC?", the technology for offering both (NNTP and HTTP, not MAC & PC) is out there.
