Oh you guys are lucky!

All I have around here in the usual Wendy's/Burger King/McDonalds/Subway bit.

I usually wind up getting a steak & cheese (or whatever is on special) at the local mom & pop sandwich shop

Thing is, its murder up here on the coast of Maine this time of year. Im just a few miles from Acadia National Park, so its a hassle fighting the traffic to get in and out.

Elfie, Jason's Deli is cheaper and (according to my step dad) is better. I personally enjoy the beef eater, like a French Dip with mayonnaise and provolone, dip in au jous MMMM.

They're all over the Carolinas and I've heard they're in other east coast southern states as well...

Yellow sign, red lettering, Bojangles. Oh sooo good.

It's a fast food chicken shop, sort of like KFC, but oh, so much better

There is/was a Carl's near Austin. Not sure if it is still around. It was around before Carl's Jr came to the DFW area and was not subject to the buyout conditions.

That sounds really good!

There is a place in Lincoln NE called DaVinci's. They sell pizzas and sub sandwiches. They have a truly uber pastrami sandwich.....

I havent seen a Jason's Deli out here yet. Quiznos puts Subway to shame, not that that is hard to do.

In fact, I refuse to eat Subway after having Quiznos heh.

When it comes to sandwiches nothing even comes close to a Reuben. Here in Michigan we have two good joints, Wheat N Rye and the Bread Basket. $7 get's you a sandwich that allows 1/2 to be eaten the next day.

Bojangles whats on the Menu for most locations, they have specials and combos at different places.

We have a place in Denver called NY Deli. Sandwiches are huge, and they allow you to eat 1/2 the next day. All the other delicious deli sandwiches as well as the Reuben.

Because I don't go up north very often the closest Jason's I know of is off I-225 By the Aurora Mall, not sure it's THAT good to make you drive for a half hour though. But yeah, not hard to take Subway to the washers. Jason's Deli

Carl's was the best fast food in all the Southland. With the exception, maybe, of In N' Out burger.

Carls used to have a steak sammich, that was soo damn good.

Limited time thing though.

Their six $ burgers are not to bad, big like a dinner burger and almost as good.

For burgers, awfully fond of the ones at Uno's and Applebee's. Five Guys is a local favorite but too greasy for me.

For steak all-time favorite is Outback.
