The first flaw is that all results were there to see for the pollee (???)  I dont think anyone that has replied thus far was persueded to say "American" opposed to what they truely felt because I believe all the reply's have said American, but the chance was there for future responders...I Should have asked for PM's...

Secondly, there was no "control" over the poll...I should have found 25, 50....people from the three groups and then interpreted the data...

Oh well, it was worth a shot

Congrats!  You have all the qualifications to be a dem exit poller.  :aok

My family's mainly from the former Austro-Hungarian Empire.  I've long since given up on saying "I'm a ___ American."  Czech, Polish, Austrian...  You tell me

I have a "Polish" last name, yet that grandfather claimed descent from Russia, further complicating the matter.  And who's to say he was wrong?  Poland didn't even "exist" when my ancestors came here.

About the only part I can say for sure is I'm part Irish.  You can't really screw that up :aok

Registered Libertarian, disgusted with Republicans who flee from their own rhetoric when they cast their votes or author their bills, but more afraid of limp-wristed Liberals than I am disgusted with Republican flip-flopping.

Genetic background.

One parent was of Mexican background but born in America.

Other parent also born in US but of German ancestry

UK at the moment, not registered with any party, haven't been able to vote in years.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Part yes......but most of the world finds in annoying that we go around saying.."I'm italian/german/lithuanian"..Most of our families have been here long enough to justify us as our own culture don't you think?...Hell even the "Native Americans" aren't native to here, they just got here before most of us

Then if the native Americans were not here first then the Deer and the Antelope are the true Americans?

So American Natives were just Natives?

Wait America wasn't "Officially" called America until the Colonies won the Revolution.

And so then the Colonists became Americans after the British left?

Then the Natives became American Natives?

:huh
