You mean you've never run into her in a Corsair?
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Not sure, but she did say best fighter in the game.  So unless she was talking about me, she must be talking about the LAla

ASA welcome aboard.

Two suggestions
1. Stick with one plane while you learn the ropes. Cannon mounted rides such as a the N1K2 or La7 will add some adreneline to your gunnery skills.

2. Once ensconced, spend the small fortune needed for a good set of gear. CH Products is the leader of the pack with a Fighterstick, throttle and rudder peddels running around $350. Next step down would be the Saitek X52 at $110 +/-  You're better off with money well spent vs an endless array of mediocre junk.

If you wind up with the Bishops, be sure to holler if you see any of The Flying Circus folks around. We're a small squad and always available to wing and train newbies.

ASA...welcome to AH2  :)
You are welcome to fly with the 44th Airmafia Wizeguys and Enforcers.
We have squad nights mon. starting at 8:00pm EST, and Sat starting at 9:00pm EST.
Please feel free to visit our website at Airmafia HQ
As the others have well stated. It is not recommended that you jump into any thing right off. This is why Mafia likes all its potential members to fly with us several nights to get the feel for the way we do things.
We fly Bishop. You can contact any Mafia member while online and find out what radio Channel we operate on. Best of luck to yas and welcome to Aces High.
Salute!

Welcome to your new addiction. :)

Take some time to learn the game, flying & shooting can seem difficult at the start, but it's well worth the time spent.

And as Oldman said, check out the other arenas as well. AvA (Axis vs Allies Arena) has fun setups to fly different planes, then there are the Special Events (Special Events Arena, see the calendar at the top of this bulletin board) which are fun and exciting to fly (usually 1 life only).

Welcome to Aces High!

Thanks all!

I appreciate the advice, and I will check out the play and players.

Hope to bump into some of you tonight!

Oldman 731:

PM me with your Kimber questions and I’ll answer the best I can - some of my answers are even correct, and free :lol !

Casper1:

It’s been two or three years since I gave up on AA. I ended up not joining any squad since I couldn’t separate the decent squads from the “chaff” - just too many lame excuses for players - even the three guys I semi-regularly joined in with on AA had had enough and quit about the same time I did.

The game itself had fantastic potential - such a shame.

TinmanX:

Too many non-native Oregonians here now! The place is being ruined!

Peace to all,
