We have a D. Bs had sirens, and even then those were often removed in the field.

In your JU87 folder, try changing the 'wind.wav' file so it plays a siren. Thats if you have a spare siren file somewhere on your hard drive.

Might just work you know.  :aok

Alright gents.  I would really like to see this happen!  Could one of you sound gurus make this siren / wind file.  JG3 has wanted this for a long time.  I would be more than happy to host this file if needed.

This should work because the wind sound kicks in and increases in volume the faster you go.

This is also true to form as well, because the stukas used the rushing air in the dive to create the siren , I think.

At the end of the day it's not accurate, but I bet it sounds so cool.

Thats exactly how it worked.  I did some searching and at one time there was a download for it.  Im going to dig out my old pc and (crosses fingers) look for the old wind.wav file of it.

Well it wasnt on there.  I think it got lost in dads great cleansing of the harddrive.  Waffle had a sound at one time.  And mitsu had something hosted aswell but none of the links work anymore.

I would like this too. But  adding a sound file would mean only I would hear it.  The thing is,  I want the fella I'm diving on to hear it too. :D
I'm thinking this change would have to come from HTC.
