I fly in a "Purple Haze" sometimes.  But if it has to be a Bon Jovi tune then its gotta be "Blaze of Glory" (Shot down).   or "Blood on Blood".

I think "Where eagles fly" (Sammy Hagar) would probably go nicely with a lift off of a mission.   Only to lead into Hearts "Shell Shock"  as the 163's descend down upon us.

On long defensive GV missions with HC43S, SimjoAce and myself being the only surviving (and sometimes smoking) Gv's on a base staring at 3 boxes of 24's headin our way I may queue up Billy Joels "Goodnight Siagon"  ("... and we will alll go dowwwnnnn togetherrrrr.")

In the event I get about 4+ red guys chasing me down to the deck I prefer dodging bullets and tree-limbs to Steppenwolf's "Born To Be Wild"
