I LOVE that one. And about the german, yeah I know. I had a guy from germany staying with us for a while, and had him teach me, but he had to leave before we could get very far. And they stopped selling the german tapes just when I saved up enough money to get one... :(

Funnily enough its "Das Flugzeug" - aeroplane (neutrum), but when referred to with their name, the planes are feminine.

I just googled for "lesson German". That was one of the pages that came up and it looked serious enough. Besides IIRC its free, so you have nothing to loose. Learning a language on your own is hard, but im sure you can do it :).

See if you can get some comics or easy books in german. When you understand a little more, german songs and films. Thats always a good way to learn conversational/colloquial things.

Thanks. Actually, one of my favorite songs is german: 99 Luftballoons

And as to getting easy books, I would need to have them imported. Only 6 languages out here:

Japanese
Chinese
Korean
Filipino
Hawaiian
and Pidgen

English isnt even one!
