Hi all,

New here and to the game.

Was wondering if anyone here is using this HOTAS Setup?

I am currently trying to configure the controls from game into my X36 and am having some issues setting up the profile.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated in advance.

Goose.

Do you try to create your configuration with:
- ingame button & axis mapping?
- Saitek SST programming software?
- a Dhauzimmer driver related profiler, like Xd-profile?

Xjazz,

Thanks for the reply.  I am actually trying to do this from the SST Programming Software.

I have had this setup for about 6 years I think as I used to fly MSFS 2000 and I have not messed with it for about 4 years now and forgot how to actually do the programming.

Thanks again for your replies much in advance.

I do have an issue with ingame button & axis mapping?

I am showing that the X36 is there and when I click on the controller buttons the majorty of them are different.

ie:

Controller Button = what is showing in Game setup
Fire A = Launch
Launch = View Up
Fire B = Fire A
Fire C = Pinkie
Pinkie = Mouse Fire

Those are just some of the wrong inputs.  Is there any way to get this issue resolved so I can try the ingame options?

Thanks much in Advance.

While the mapping section is up on the clipboard, double tap/pull the button or trigger you want to change.

Another dialog box will pop up with all the mapping options.  From here you can map all the inputs or keep double tapping the buttons as you go through them.
Easy in-game again.
