need to update your codecs possibly, and you said CD burning help, but you talking bout using a DVD player ?

also, some DVD Players will only playback certian types of DVD disc-  DVD +R, DVD-R  etc.........  same with some DVD &/or CD bruners
"When one considers just what they should say to a new pilot who is logging in Aces High, the mind becomes confused in the complex maze of info it is necessary for the new player to know. All of it is important; most of it vital; and all of it just too much for one brain to absorb in 1-2 lessons" TC

Try using a program like Nero to burn anything wether it's music or movies.

The majority of all DvD players now a days use the DvD-R format while some will play the DvD+R format.I prefer the DvD-R format myself.
