Agreed.
Perhaps its time for a British government to recover the remains of all airman shot down over Europe, like the US did. It's a national disgrace that they are left there simply because it would cost a little money to bring them back.

Agree Dowding, especially after reading that some 'collectors' in Belgium are digging up the old trenches to find weapons, uniforms, badges etc., just to sell on the black market. If that wasn't bad enough then they don't even report the grave and any chance of identifying the body is lost!
