I doubt it 88, atleast not a modern game. Older games thould run ok tho if you have enough system ram. If im not mistaken its sertified to give you the fancy graphics in Windows Vista.

You should be able to play AH.

It wont run very well, and you might see alot of graphical glitches, but it should work.

ah  just as i feared.  thank you gentlemen...you saved me a great hassle and the potential loss of alot of fun.

i have been struggling to find the right laptop for all of my needs but have been unsuccessful.

i like the dell inspiron e1505 which i can get with a 256 gforce or with an ATI card...but i would rather have something a bit more portable.  i wish that i could see it, but alas.

it feels like a broadsword when what i am really looking for is a sleek, powerful, yet attractive sytem that acts more like a well crafted dagger.

i need to...

be able to plug it, into a monitor for graphics intensive work.
play aces high and shoot down waffle from time to time.
carry it everywhere.
do video editing
run word alot.
look awesome and cool for at or under 1.5 k

any suggestions?

Take a look at Acer or The HP Pavillion series. You will find what you are looking for there.

The pavillion series have a couple of models that have the gf7600 graphics cards. You still have to "settle" for the amd dual core cpus.

Acer Aspire 5671almi has the ati x1600 card witch is very good but that also has intel dual core.

Not sure if any of these models are available in the US under the same names tho.

Erm avoid Acer at all costs. Horseloads of problems witnessed, especially with networking.
