Here's what I gather from watching the video once... lots of noise so I won't try to translate stuff not easily heard.

Seems like it's mainly a conversation between armored truck commander and driver.

1:30 Look he's going! Don't give way! Keep the camera rolling! (swearing)
2:06 We should try to flank via the overhead road
2:15 Easy easy - turn around so our aft is toward them
2:34 There you go  (x2)
2:45 Stay here (x2)  - Lost brake pressure - Take aft straight up - Ylitalo (name of a guy) tell us how you are doing?
3:13 Take it forward a bit - crashing!! (swearing) - forward perkele (swearing) . He's coming full steam for us - *******
3:48 Oh **** he's coming for us - **** you (in english..) - come out of the thing and we'll beat the **** out of you you (swearing and depletatives of the other guy)
4:06 shut it here
4:12 (swearing) they are seriously coming through
4:32 go forward
4:45 he's going back
5:30 Well, Virta (name of the Driver) did you break a sweat?
 - Yes, I did - cold sweat
 - So did I
5:48 is coming aboard
 - we should get pipes
6:12 Ylitalo, put on your helmet so we can get back to action
 - Yes
 - Powerless tanks they have
7:04 Men, get into the wagon
7:18 Virta? - I don't know whether we won or they, probably 1-0 for them
 - Next round we'll kick their ass

Seems like the UN guys were ordered to keep the Israelis out of some place and the Israelis really did want to get there. Appears that despite the relative difference between driving a low-powered armored truck vs high-powered tank is not so much when you really try to stop the guys and both sides are forbidden to use lethal weapons...

That is some sort of area where neither of the sides are allowed into for longer than an hour or so. When the time was up, the UN operatives proceeded to block the tanks from proceeding further.

Unfortunately a wheeled APC with lesser mass and traction isn't a match for an engineering tank.

I think they should take out some old T-55 tanks, remove the turret and add a big scoop on the hull. Then it could be utilized as an engineering vehicle and also as a mobile tank blockade. No tank could push it after the scoop is lowered on the ground, there'd be simply too much traction :)

What're they saying?

I don't know the translation but I can make the neocon interpretation of the event :

Some poor israely tanker where agressed by useless UN troops.

Well it's the short version I'm tired and heading to bed.

What do neocons have to do with either finn or israeli tank crews in the middle of a no-man's-land on the other side of the planet?
