I know how to change the arena settings so that I can give my planes 10X ammo, but don't see a place to give myself 10X bombs or rockets.  I'm trying to practice dive bombing, but I can't get it to give me 10X bombs/rockets.  For example, currently I can only drop 2 eggs out of a fighter before having to end sortie and take off all over again.  Any suggestions appreciated.  Thanks.

you can't adjust the bomb load with the ammo multipliers.

simple reason? where would the bombs hang from?

Well I understand that concept I guess, but not sure why you have to show the bombs on the plane.  Seems like there is simply a mulitplier for the bombs as well.  You don't actually see your 14k in ammo, but you are able to shoot that much.

thats just it though. you do see the bombs, and they effect the performance of the airplane too.

take a tyhpoon. 2 1k bombs one under each wing. if you drop one, the plane tilts because of the mass of weight on the other wing. if you had changed the multiplier, it would have to change the FM of the plane.

yea the bombs usually show hanging off the wing if you dropped 1 bomb it should affect you but if you had say 30 bombs it would coincide with the FM.

Dive bombing is fairly simple anyway, you shouldn't need that many bombs to get the hang of it.

Up a stuka with 5 bombs or a 190 F8 or 110 with full load and just bomb your own town (offline, ofcourse)

Recap, i usually recommend taking a Spit16 for divebomb practice. For two reasons actually :).

It climbs to drop alt quick.
It will teach you speed management on dive (otherwise you loose your wings).

If you want to avoid the climb to alt, check out the bombing/dive bombing section in the TA. The lead computed bombsight can give you an idea how to aim/where the bombs go.

Tips for divebombing:

Get to at least 5K alt (over target).
Make the dive steep - around 70 degrees. The steeper, the easier to aim.
*Never* use rudder to correct your aim for bombs/rockets. Those will follow your actual FLIGHT PATH - rudder makes your plane yaw and change its longitudinal axis, but not its flight path (sideslip).
Unload Gs before dropping. I found that when making the dive around 0 G when dropping, the bombs more or less fall to where the gunsight pipper points to.
21 is only half the truth.
