Ok Ok this is great, there I was flying along in my JU-88's in mid war last night and here comes this spit diving in on my 6!!!! First pass he pings me, I ping him all is good. Second pass he pings me I ping him then it looks like he rammed my tail and it says I collided with him..

Now I can only guess that he went under and pulled up in front of my slow moving 88's causing me to ram him and I go down missing several parts....

Usually I don't have a problem with the collision model but this was just stupid!!

New way to kill us bomber guys??

But thanks for at least getting a different complaint up! This week has gotten pretty monotonous.

Here's a great explanation, if you want to take the time...right from the designer's mouth....and it covers collisions quite well.

could be you pulled up/dropped down just enough to hit his plane therefore giving you the collision?

It isn't an auto accident. It has nothing to do with which way anybody was going or facing.

I know all about how the collision model works, I've been around for a while.

I was just thinking about how it happened.. I was lvl and slow manning the guns so the only explanation is that on my end he went under me and pulled up in front of me causing my plane to ram him on my end of things.... That is unless I was flying backwards LOL:huh

I wasn't attempting to complain, I was just describing a strange collision....

Totally repeatable in the DA.

Harder to do against fighters, but easier (not real easy) against buffs.

Also the same reason you can get rammed in GVs by aircraft.
