Last night in Late1 some Rooks, squadies and I were defending A41 from knights trying to get it back. We frustrated the hell outta them for over an hour:D .It really was untenable to hold but we gave them a good run for their money.

The thing that ticked me off was a guy, not saying who, comes over in Lancs at 1, 000 ft and I chace the blighter through the melee of cons. The Lancs do the dive carpet bomb thing just as I catch up. All his bombs go out and as soon he did that he bailed from all 3 bombers:furious

I PM the guy my utter loathing of his actions . He says whats wrong with bomb and bail

Then equates it to being no different from upping GV's when the VH pops

Keep in mind FH BH are down also.

It's bad enough to low level dive bomb Lancs in my mind but to top it off with instant bail

Is this persons behaviour healthy

Sometime ago I was after a set of 24's (I think) in my Jug. They bombed, they missed whatever thier target was, they bailed, and I 200'd them saying they probably missed out on killing me on the way back, as I was not that far behind. Sad.

That's one thing I will say for the EW with the Lancs being perked. I don't think there will be a lot of that going on.

WRONG!!!! lol see what some peaple are forgetting is that us buff fweebs havent spent an perks in over 2 years well becouse there is nothin to spend them on now you got a lot of guys with over 7000 some buff points sitting around......your think we are going to care if we loose 150?

Oh come on man! Thats hardly the point. Wouldn't you rather earn your kill's than have some gamey tosser bail to up asap with the next set? What the heck is wrong with RTB ?, what the heck is wrong with calibrated bombing ? and what the heck is wrong with getting alt ?

It's just to much trouble for these idiots...... lazy skilless tossers.

It's this kind of attitude and those that condone it that drags parts of the game down.

Lynx, sir, my thoughts as well.

Once again, more or less on the main point, I was close enough to ID them, but not close enough to get proxies. Had he not bailed, the ensuing fight could have very well gone in his favor, or maybe mine. That's what I was looking forward to: the challenge and the uncertainty of knocking down a flight, but apparently he did not value such a thing, to carry home one- possibly two kills, and so chose to pass up opportunity to quite possibly paste me with a bunch of 50 cal. It's his choice, yes, but I find it rather chickensh**.

No way to stop someone from bailing out, so best you can do is just point and laugh.

The best you can hope for is pinging them before they bail, then the pointing and laughter. But, yeah, it's lame as hell, but there's not a lot of alternatives, unless HTC sorts out one of those bomb damage/dweeb life span systems. The upside is that those are the sort who haven't even figured out how to bomb, and, in my own experience, are lucky to even hit the ground, let alone the hangars (okay, all of the hangars).

I guess in the meantime we can film and have group mockings on here. It'd be a nice change of pace from the current arena setup threads.
