It is so outstanding to have our Japanese brothers with us in this fight. It will be their first military action since WWII.

Hehe sending Navy vessels to land-locked Afghanistan is hardly a military action.

I don't think the nature of this conflict has sunk in for some people.  By sending military aid to us, The Japanese people have opened themselves up to terror attacks.  They are doing more then just paying lip service to the cause.  Most of the American people are grateful.

You've got to be kidding.  Right?

I mean, the US Navy is a major part of the strikes.
The southern border of Afganistan is less than 400 miles from the Indian Ocean.  A small hop for Navy Aircraft.
Not to mention, the possible flare up of activity with Sadam and his crew.
Support of any type is just what is needed to show that the world is ready to work together to keep evil at bay!

I think what easymo has said is absolutely correct.
They are risking much by delivering supplies. They don't have to fire a single gun to draw the fire of the terror which we fight.
