Depending on where you live, it has been messed up.  Ed Rendell was once the mayor of Philly.  Though compared to the current mayor, I'd rather have rendell.  Anyway, Rendell ****ed up philly and philly schools so hardcore that the governor of that time (Tom Ridge) actually stepped in, took control and righted the situation.

The problem comes when Rendell starts to claim credit for things going right in Philly.  This was one of the reasons why he won.

Chauffered Rendell around a couple weeks ago on a donated trip from some group.  I just nod my head, smile and get em from A to B.  He was a complete toolbag who tried to impress some Pittsburgh folks but couldn't remember the name of a certain Pirates ball player.  His plan backfired and I got a chuckle out of it (Not that it matters I don't follow AAA ball too closely anyway :p )

Now his 10 foot tall security guard was one cool dude.  All of the PA state troopers on the VIP security detail were very cool guys.

I don't know why he even bothered to stop in Pittsburgh...how are you going to be Lynn Swann in the burgh?

I tried eating one of those sandwiches...I couldn't do it.  Didn't like it in the least.  I'll stick with Lucianos or Vocelli's Pizza.
