I certainly hope Al Qaeda hasn't built its strength back up.  I hope these are just mere threats from an organization that can't do anything else.

But what if...

What if Al Qaeda really has built up its strength.  Recruitment has certainly been easier with the invasion of Iraq.  But where would the nuclear weapons come from?  Not China, we (the U.S.) are too valuable to them as a consumer of their goods.  North Korea?  Former Soviet stockpiles?

Nah, nuclear weapons would be too hard to get ahold of.  The attack will come in the form of a dirty bomb.  Radioactive material attached to high explosives.

But what can we do?  All we can do is be extra vigillent, and be motivated and ready to rebuild when something does happen.

I wish our President had crushed Al Qaeda entirely instead of messing with Iraq.

It might not even be that big.  Think about it, how hard would it be to stockpile a bunch of IEDs and then go out one night and plant them for the rush out traffic of the next day.

That being said think about all the reports of young muslim men buying trac phones by the thousands this last year.
