I remember the illegal mexican thread, this is a hot button but with the heavy censorship on the boards u cant say a word. I wished they spent the time filtering the bb doing planes and updates, then maybe we will get a full roster finally.

I'm going to throw out some names here. Hubs, Mars, Laz, and many of the Bops. I don't always agree with them but I don't have to call them names or practice my ebully tactics to make a point.
Bottom line on internet message boards is 'oh he said what? I'll insult him'
'oh you called me out in front of my peers I'll insult you worse'
sheesh figure this stuff out.. there are TEENAGERS ON THIS BOARD THAT HAVE MORE CLASS THAN SOME OF YOU.
If you have a personal problem with someone take it to PM's (I still laugh at the fact that PM's is PMS).
Hubs nothing personal but I'm using you as an analagy.
He and I STRONGLY disagreed a few weeks ago. But it really didn't evolve into a 'your mama is so fat' argument. We exchanged words and that was about it. Let me smack all of you with a cluepon. If I see that Hubs has posted I go and read it because he's an intelligent person. I don't always agree with him in fact I rarely agree with his delivery but I do want to see his point of view so I can measure it against mine. Shocking thing is that I've seen that a lot of his ideas have merit. (BK's I'm not picking on yall but you guys are vocal).
By the way.. in reading Hubs posts I've gained a grudging respect for the guy. His delivery may suck from time to time but I get what he's trying to say.
The true mark of intellectual intelligence is not only the respect of but the solicitation of opposing points of view. Try to see it from the other guys side before you spend 30 seconds typing to prove that your schlong is bigger than his. NEWSFLASH size doesn't matter, skills don't matter (because there's always somebody better than you), and if you thicken your skin a bit something that some faceless person that you will never meet in real life says about you doesn't matter in the big scheme of things.
When I get home from work my dogs are glad to see me, my kids want to know how my day was, and my wife wants to ... well.. it isn't go shopping.
Shall we all relax a little bit and try to find some common ground? Make the best of the game we all 'love' and quit trying to one up each other on the boards?
Trust me guys I'm an internet board vet from places that make this board seem like a strict Southern Baptist church. I respect the rules of this board and do my best to not only stay within them but represent my squad in the best possible light. Were the rules relaxed to a degree that I am used to I could send most of you home crying for mama.
Do I want to do that? Nope... been there and done that... I've found that it's much better to build each other up than tear each other down.
Of course that's just my opinion.
