SEAGOON aka Pastor Andy Webb
"We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion... Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." - John Adams

There's a time when the best thing you can do is just fade into the background, Nash.  The people that are such negative influences won't change anyway.  They'll just turn every thread into... this.

So, take the intelligent conversation to that other bulletin board... the one with the "roll call" thread.  This BB is a place for keeping in touch with those old faces that one likes even though one doesn't always agree.  Now there are so many here that I dislike even when I do agree.

I have to take issue with your jab at Seagoon though; I find him to be one of the most well-reasoned, well-informed posters on this BB. Even though I only agree with his conclusions half of the time, I still find his posts thought provoking and worthy of discussion.

Don't let the 75% crap ruin the 25% good stuff, bud.

My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

What's been passed in relation to Habeus Corpus?  Isit totally repealed?

No, the right to writ of habeus corpus has existed in common law for centuries.  It is a fundamental principle of what we consider to be just.

You know, the roll call thread today.  You post there, i lurk there and occasionally post.  I hesitate to call it by name, as it's the last bastion of the non-retarded internet (well, it has one or two retards).

I'm always floored by the quality of discussion over there... so much so that I feel out of my league arguing with them about many things.  But I lurk and absorb and learn... that's all I want from this whole intardnet anyhow.
