Hurr IIC - LW = 10 Eny?
« on: October 01, 2006, 05:08:15 PM »
I've flown this plane before in the old MA, and could swear the eny was about 30 or 35. Now it's 10, which seems a little low considering the speed of the plane.   About the only thing you can outrun in it is a zeke. Heck, I had trouble keeping up w/ a Ju88 the other day . . .

I believe ENY values are based more on popularity and use than just by the numbers performance.

Does anyone know what the deal is with the 'stats' page? hasn't worked for me in some time--thus, ya can't see plane usage. I have a similar (lol and ignored) beef about P47N.

The Zeke was reduced from 35 to 20 also.  Probably due to popularity as someone pointed out.

i think its because of how good it is against GV's, and those 4 cannons make it like a niki......

i farmed like 400 perks in one day init once.

however i think 10eny is extreme for the LW arena

well if you look and eny across the board, there's no more planes that have an eny of 60.  Hurricane IIC having an eny of 10 makes since, the p47d11 is now 25, the p47d25 is now 22 and the p47d40 is now 20, and of course the p47N is 5.

I wonder if the problem comes from applying the same ENY across all arenas.

In EW, the Hurri is a beast, almost perkable. In there, it deserves the low ENY, and even the Spit I is worthwhile (kinda).

I figured the ENY's were changing based on simulator effectiveness....  That is, the real plane and the sim may not agree.....in the case of the Hurri IIC, it is a great plane in AH......and wasn't too shabby in the war....

I agree, different ENY would make sense in different arenas...as the competition changes.
