I have had lojack on the last several vehicles I have owned.
Story I heard while workin at ABC Nissan (when I was tryin to be a car salesman.. LOL) ..someone stole one of the trucks from next door, took it across the border.
Couple years later the morons drove it up to Tucson.. lojack was still beepin away .. they got busted and jail time ..vehicle was recovered
It costs $150 for it (or did when I was doin the deed) .. purty darn cheap for the satisfaction of gettin yer car back.
As was said above, dealer installs it, you never see it or have to do anything to it . . they usually cut a patch outta the frame and put it in, then weld, grind, and paint the frame .. can't tell where it is.
