Yes the new arena thing has proven you can't whine about planes any more all you have to do is change arena's. I like it.:aok

Its Krusty.  He says this is a flight sim, not a combat sim.  You'll have to educate him a bit more than that  :p

I don't think you were the reason for a meltdown that I may have had completely plastered on an online game so don't give yourself that much credit!  If my drunken memory serves me right, there were several statements made by another player to me right in the middle of me owning you several times that put me in the mood for a "meltdown".  So, if you would like to duel me and see who gets the "spanking", then catch me on and ask!  Also I will not duel you if you just want to HO like you were doing that night as well.  Usually, when I duel someone, we agree that no HO's shall be taken, not even if there close calls.  So just with that rule in place alone, it would scratch u from default!  Although I was too drunk to fly I still remember your lame face shots!  I'll be on around 10:30 pm EST!  Oh, and nice selective memory of what really happened that night! :aok

flying La7 makes it easier for almost anybody to get kills--- but it's not like ya REALLY die, fly somethin that's a little bit challenging ---La7 is like playing Doom with the cheat codes

It's not what you fly but how you fly that makes a ride challenging.

Last Tour one of my former squadmates wanted to fly it.   I hadn't been in one in well over 5-6 months.   Three of us up, I land 5 kills and had 240 rounds left.

I have outturned all rides in the MA with the exception of the A6M (80% of all of em either with MYSELF outnumbered or 1 vs 1).   As SkyRock said, "It's all in the math."   EXACTLY, knowing when you CAN and CAN'T cut corners and manipulate throttle is the key to this plane.    I also RARELY drop flaps in ANY ride, I find throttle much more reliable and "less E killing".

I cannot see anything involving an La7 being challenging-- except for hi-alt, or trying to stay aloft more then 19 minutes

:huh  So, hi-alt cruising in p-47N or 190-D and cherry picking is more challenging than actually fighting (no matter what the plane is)?

He's talking about flying the LA7 at high alt, where it does not perform so well (above 15k it is pretty bad)

No, he thinks that if he flies other late war rides instead of LA7 he has an excuse of flying timid and that entitles him to bash a plane he knows nothing about.
